This Decree-Law creates a protecting system for natural disasters in agriculture (harvest insurance program and financial compensation). It consists of 6 chapters establishing the requirements to be satisfied for benefit from such integrated system. It also lays down composition and duties of competent authorities, responsible for granting these compensations.
