This Order regulates maritime traffic in order to protect dolphins in the archipelago of Fernando de Noronha Island. It consists of 5 articles prohibiting every activity (specified in the text) interfering with dolphins ("Stenella longirostris") in the aforementioned area. It lays down conditions of navigation to be satisfied with specific regard to the protection of dolphins. It prescribes controls to be carried out by Ibama and sanctions to be paid by offenders in compliance with Act No. 7.643 of 18 December 1987.
