Decree on Land.

This Decree lays down basic provisions on land. All land in the State of Lao PDR is the property of the national community. The State manages the land on a centralized and unanimous basis at the national level (art. 1). This Decree is composed of five Chapters, i.e.: Land and Property over Land (1); Right of Possession and Use of Land (2); Management and use of each Type of Land (3); Measures against Offenders (4); Organization and Implementation (5).
