These rules implement provisions of the Public Liability Insurance Act by further providing for applications and awards for relief of damages caused by ecological accidents, powers of the Collector having jurisdiction in the area, a fund for relief to be established by owners in the sense of section 4, comma 3 of the Act, the register of applications, giving of notices, extent of liability, contribution of owner to the Environmental Relief Fund by owners, etc. The Table attached contains a list of chemicals with quantities for application of Public Liability Insurance Act.
