This Regional Legislative Decree No. 26/2000/A creates the Incentive System for Azorian Regional Development (SIDER). It consists of 24 articles establishing involved sectors and requirements to be satisfied in order to benefit from incentives for regional development purposes (within different sectors such as: water pipeline, transport, public health, environmental protection, land planning, construction, trade, etc.). SIDER objectives are the improvement and modernisation of regional areas (not applying for investment projects established by EAGGF Committee).
