Presidential Decree No. 223 implementing EEC Directive 1991/67 establishing animal health conditions governing the placing on the market of aquaculture animals and products.

This Decree aims at defining animal health conditions governing the placing on the market of aquaculture animals and products. Aquaculture products being placed on the market for breeding purposes or for human consumption must originate from animals satisfying the requirements laid down in the Directive.
