Regional Act No. 30 on dredging interventions to be undertaken at rivers and channels through sandbanks, as well as on storage and disposal installations for sledges that may not be reused within the lagoon district.

The Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, with a view to guaranteeing the internal navigation and enabling the regular change of waters in the environments of natural interest, provides for the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of rivers and channels in accordance with a ten year programme to be implemented annually (art. 1). The Regional Administration shall provide for the achievement of such purposes directly or by entrusting administrative functions to the Communes, Consortia and Special Agencies of Public Entities (art. 2). As referred to in article 5, the Regional Director for the Environment shall adopt by Decree, within thirty days from the approval of this Act, technical standards concerning the sledges storage and disposal.
