In compliance with Act No. 447 of 1995, the present Regional Act makes provision aimed at the protection of public health and the environment against noise pollution. The Communes shall classify their territories into uniform areas for the purpose of applying the emission limit values set out in article 2 (1) of Act No. 447 of 1995. Article 3 hereto describes the procedure intended to approve the classification. Article 5 refers to the noise restoration plans to be adopted by the Communes. Article 16 lays down administrative sanctions.
