Any person who owns or has the control of bee colonies, or who knows that a colony is nesting on his property, is hereby required to register such bee colonies with the Director of Agriculture and Fisheries. The Director is empowered to carry out inspections (reg. 4) and to order the destruction of diseased colonies (reg. 6). A written permit from the Director is compulsory for the movement of diseased colonies (reg. 5).
