This Act concerns cooperative associations in Yukon. Under section 3, “any five or more people who for the purpose of conducting and carrying on a cooperative undertaking, business or industry desire to associate themselves together as a cooperative association with or without share capital shall sign in duplicate a memorandum of association and comply with the requirements of this Act respecting registration and incorporation of associations”. The Act provides for shares (sect. 12), membership (sect. 14), election and actions of directors (sect. 19), meetings of associations (sect. 20), withdrawal of members (sect. 26), dissolution (sect. 27) and financial matters.
