Commission Decision 2004/614/EC concerning protection measures in relation to highly pathogenic avian influenza in the Republic of South Africa.

With a view to preventing the spread of avian influenza due to the importation of live ratites, birds other than poultry as well as hatching eggs and meat of these species, Member States shall suspend the importation of such products from the Republic of South Africa.
