This Decree, composed of 3 articles and one Annex, approves the VI Plan for maritime resources – VI PSRM, defining the general guidelines for the sector with the aim of addressing the development of the activities directed to an effective use, exploitation of natural, mineral and energy resources comprised in the territorial sea, in the Exclusive Economic Zone and in the Continental Shelve, in accordance with a sustainable development focus. The Plan is structured in the following 8 Chapters: Maritime resources, living resources, non-living resources, objectives, programmes under the Federal Government’s Multi-annual Plan, Supporting measures, priority research areas.
