The Forest Ministry and the State Forest Service shall be the authorized institutions to carry out forest fires control on the national territory. Regional executive bodies must elaborate and carry out forest fires preventive arrangements before the beginning of fire risk seasons and provide for coordination of forest fires prevention arrangements on the regional territory by setting up special commissions for such purpose.
