These Rules provide for the form and manner in which applications for licences shall be made, terms and conditions included in any licence, licence fees, and for powers, functions and duties of Cocoon Market Committees. Licensees are authorized to rear silkworm seeds which have been obtained from places where disease free silkworm eggs are prepared. The Rules further make provision for the following: appeals; procedures regarding seizure of silkworm seeds or cocoons; maintenance of registers; etc.
