Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2006 (Act No. 54 of 2006).

This Act amends the Essential Commodities Act, 1955. Amendments shall include: omission of clause (a) of section 2; insertion of a new section 2A on essential commodities declaration; minor changes to section 3 and section 12A; and addition of a new commodity to the Schedule.
