The present Regulations enact section 16 of the Agricultural Insurance Act. The Regulations lay down comprehensive provisions relating to the insurance of crops. The purpose of a production insurance programme is to provide insurance coverage for insurable crops against production and other losses, as described in the Schedules, resulting from one or more of the insurable perils.
