This Act amends the Kerala Irrigation and Water Conservation Act, 2003. Amendments shall include: insertion of new definitions to section 2; minor changes to sections 57 and 59; substitution of section 62 with a new section on functions of the Dam Safety Authority; insertion of new sections 62A and 62B on details of endangered dams and powers of the Authority; insertion of a new section 68A; and insertion of a new “Second Schedule”.
