This Model Statute establishes that peasant farm shall become legal person from the moment of its state registration in accordance with the current legislation. Peasant farm shall be based upon personal labour of the members of household jointly carrying out farming on plot of agricultural land. Peasant farm shall be granted the right to carry out any authorized agricultural activity and processing of agricultural commodities. Peasant farm shall have the duty to use efficiently land plots in accordance with the purposeful use thereof, improve soil fertility, carry out soil protection arrangements and pay timely land tax and rent. Peasant farm may have plots of agricultural land in ownership.
