This Act makes provision for the impounding of straying livestock and related matters. The executive member may establish pounds and appoint poundmasters. Stock found (grazing) on enclosed land may be impounded and owners of straying stock may be sued for damage done. Any person impounding any stock in a pound shall give notice to the poundkeeper thereof.
