Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1044/2010 establishing a prohibition of fishing for alfonsinos in Community waters and waters not under the sovereignty or jurisdiction of third countries of III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XII and XIV by vessels flying the flag of Portugal.

This Regulation prohibits fishing for alfonsinos by vessels flying the flag of or registered in Portugal, within the European Community waters specified in the Annex and as from 11 August 2010. It also prohibits retaining on board, relocating, transhipping or landing fish from that stock caught by those vessels after that date.
