These Regulations amend the Biomass Processing Challenge Fund Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010 by inserting a new definition of “EU legislation”, which refers to a list of EU legislation set out in a new Schedule. This identifies the relevant EU legislation in accordance with which payments under Regulations must be made. The Regulations also remove the power of the European Commission to specify a different date to the one referred to therein as the date until which beneficiaries are required to keep records.
