This Act establishes the improvement of agricultural structures, the effectiveness of environmentally- and ecologically-friendly production methods in agriculture and environmental conservation. It applies to investment subsidies granted to farmers for the development of agricultural products. Projects entitled to these grants shall direct them for the improvement of existing methods and agreements between farmers for common agricultural activities and gains. Private owners may receive support for agriculture areas where there is a requirement of afforestation through improvement of existing forests, including the alleviation of extraordinary damage caused by storms, drought, insect attack or similar. The Act consists of 8 Chapters: Introductory provisions (1); Subsidy for improvement plans (2); Special subsidy for young farmers (3); Warranty (4); Subsidies for establishing cooperation between farmers (5); Subsidy for the establishment of agency arrangements (6); Subsidy for forestry measures (7); General provisions (8).
