Ministerial Decree No. 431 validating basic rates of payment for standing timber and the modalities of calculation and payment of revenues to the budget for forest management.

This Ministerial Decree establishes rates of payment for standing timber, industrial wood and fuelwood distributed by forest species and fruit-tree species. The Regulation on the modalities of calculation and payment of revenues to the budget for forest management establishes the modalities of calculation and revenues to the state budget for the following forest uses: (a) timber extraction; (b) soft resin collection; (c) procurement of non-timber products; (d) secondary forest uses and management; (e) recreational forest use; (f) forest use for scientific research; and (g) forest management for hunting purposes. Forest management can be long-term for the period of 50 years, and short-term for the period of one year.
