These provisions lay down certain amendments to the Groundwater Abstraction (Metering) Regulations. They supplement regulation 2 by inserting the definition of domestic purposes by the user’s household. Further, sub-regulations (1) and (2) of regulation 17, regarding the power of the Malta Resources Authority to order the closure of domestic groundwater sources under certain circumstances, are deleted.
