This Act provides for the establishment of the Keep Australia Beautiful Council (W.A.) and defines its composition and its functions. This Act prohibits the deposit of litter in public places other than those that are designated for such deposit, defines various offences in relation with littering, and provides for the appointment of authorized officers and for their powers. The Act further provides for: the constitution of committees; the establishment of a Keep Australia Beautiful Council (W.A.) Fund; infringement notices; penalties; etc.
