These Regulations implement provisions of the Co-operatives Act 2009. The Regulations provide for: contents of cooperative rules and model rules of cooperatives; factors and consideration for determining primary activities of cooperatives; management and administration of cooperatives; funds and property of cooperatives; restrictions on the acquisition of interests in cooperatives; winding-up and deregistration of cooperatives; mutual recognition of foreign cooperatives; etc.
