This Decree concerns financial aid awarded by the funds allocated in the state budget or in an outline plan for the Agriculture and Forestry Development Fund for research and development projects related to agriculture and food economy and rural areas. It does not apply to the grant of aid financed by the European Community for actions based on the program of rural development or for research on reindeer husbandry and natural sciences. Applications for aid shall be made to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Ministry may grant 100 percent of the eligible costs. If subsidies are granted, a steering committee may be appointed for the projects if its scope and consequences justify such measure.
