The present Regulation enforces the Lake Simcoe Protection Act, 2008 (SO 2008, c 23). In particular, the Regulations lays down provisions relating to the implementation of the Lake Simcoe Protection Plan establishing that planning applications commenced before 2 June 2009 are not subject to the afore-mentioned Plan.
