Goa, Daman and Diu Mining Concessions (Abolition and Declaration as Mining Leases) Act, 1987 (Act No. 16 of 1987).

This Act provides for the abolition of mining concessions granted by the Portuguese Colonial State and for the declaration of mining leases granted under the Mines & Minerals (Development & Regulation) Act, 1957. The Act further provides for: payment for mining leases; appointment of the Commissioner of Payments; offences and penalties; etc.
