This Regulation prescribes all necessary hygiene standards and other specific provisions aimed to offer full protection and minimum animal welfare conditions, and applies to control posts or rest places at which animals are rested or kept for at least 12 or more hours. The control or rest post or locations shall also comply with the requirements laid down in this Regulation. The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
