The quota allocated to Spain for 2013 for greater forkbeard in EU and international waters of VIII and IX is deemed to be exhausted as from 20 August 2013. Therefore the present Regulation prohibits fishing for that stock in that zone to vessels flying the flag of or registered in Spain. Furthermore it shall be prohibited to retain on board, relocate, tranship or land fish from that stock caught by those vessels after that date.
