This Act gives the British Columbia Ministry of Agriculture the authority to control the sale of veterinary drugs by persons other than a pharmacist or a registered veterinarian. It stipulates: prohibited uses, sales and representations; who may manufacture or sell; licence to manufacture or sell; if veterinary drug dispenser required; powers of inspectors and offences. It gives the Minister of Agriculture the authorization to develop regulations for the sale of veterinary drugs and medicated feeds and the manufacture of medicated feeds.
