This Regional Law establishes plenary powers of the regional administration in the sphere of veterinary with a view of protection of public health against diseases common to animals and human beings, prevention, liquidation and cure of animal diseases. Regional executive body in the sphere of veterinary shall have the following competence: (a) performance of veterinary and sanitary expertise of the products of animal origin; (b) veterinary and sanitary monitoring; (c) registration and certification of animal farms, processing facilities of animal products; and (d) establishes rates of veterinary servicing of animals.
