This Norm, consisting of 15 articles, establishes procedures for the use and exploitation of forest Pine spp., listed in Category 2 of Order SEMA No. 79. It establishes that the above mentioned forest tree species for productive purposes must obtain environmental authorisation issued by the State Environmental Protection Foundation (FEPAM), in accordance with the Terms of Reference provided by the environmental agency. In addition, it establishes that the licensing process should be presented a term of responsibility, signed by the developer and the contractor and the technical competent authority, establishing formal commitment to achieving the permanent control of dissemination of Pinus spp. out of the block areas.
