This Norm, consisting of 5 articles, establishes procedures for the use and exploitation of Archontophoenix cunninghamiana (King palm) listed in Category 2 of Order SEMA No. 79. This Norm aims at regulating the planting and keeping of the above mentioned palm species which can only be made within regular plantations with homogeneous space, in enclosed plots in sketch of the property and identified by geographic coordinates marked with GPS. All other uses of this tree species are prohibited. The control of biological invasion of the above mentioned palm species is compulsory in all areas outside the plots planted for productive purposes specified in art. 1.
