Agreement between the State Environmental Protection Administration of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Forest and Environment of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on Cooperation of Environmental Protection.

This Agreement, consisting of 10 Articles, aims to promote cooperation between the Parties on environmental protection. With this Agreement, the Parties intend to develop cooperation in several fields, such as: (a) management of nature reserves and protection of biological diversity; (b). water pollution and air pollution monitoring technology; (c). environmental education, training and publicity; (d). environmental science and technology research; (f). clean production; (g). laws, regulations, policies and standards on natural resources and environmental protection; etc. The Agreement shall remain in force for a period of five years, automatically renewable for equal and successive periods.
