This Law defines the: protection measures and practices in order to preserve the environment, by reducing the risk to human life and health, by ensuring and improving the quality of life for the benefit of present and future generations. This Law also establishes the system of protection and promotion environmental area, by implementing the concrete protection measures, procedures on protection and management of protected areas, measures and procedures for the protection from harmful effects of activities in environment, including the financial issues, duties of protection many other relevant provisions all aimed to define the general environmental protection principles to be observed on the territory of the Tuzla Canton (autonomous part of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina). The Law is divided into X Chapters and 96 articles, including the offences and related penalties.
