The present Inter-Cantonal Agreement establishes the Linthwerke. The Linthwerk ensures flood protection in the surrounding lowlands. The needs of residents and the environment shall be taken into consideration within the framework of federal legislation. The text consists of 32 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Organization (2); Extension and maintenance (3); Protection of industrial plants (4); Financing (5); Final provisions (6).
