This Law regulates the establishment, organization and functioning of firefighting units (financing, institutional), voluntary firefighting associations, including all necessary rules for the correct and useful operation and maintenance of firefighting sector (equipment, devices, personnel, education, means and obligations). As here established, the fire protection is a matter of professional and humanitarian character (protection of human and environmental/natural health and safety) of public interest on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia. This Law is divided into IX Chapters and 67 articles, including the offences and penalties.
