These Regulations, consisting of six sections and completed by nine Schedules, are made under section 99 of the Conservation, Forests and Lands Act 1987. They prescribe for the following issues: (a) the offences against a relevant law for which an infringement notice may be served; (b) infringement penalties for those prescribed infringement offences. These Regulations are divided as follows: Objective; Authorising provision; Commencement; Revocations; Prescribed infringement offences; Prescribed infringement penalties. The Schedules deal with the following matters: Regulations Revoked; Alpine Resorts; Forests; Land; National Parks; Royal Botanic Gardens; Wildlife; Catchment and Land Protection; Sustainable Forests (Timber).
