This Resolution approves the National Plan for Environmental Education 2013-2022 (PNEA). This National Plan, consisting of 6 Sections, establishes the guiding instrument for the implementation of national policies in the field of Environmental Education, as a way of promoting greater environmental awareness, ensuring the management and sustainable use of environmental resources and contributing to environmental quality and for the country's sustainable and strategic development. The Specific Objectives are: to define strategies, mechanisms and approaches for fulfilling the objectives outlined in the field of Environmental Education; to outline a plan to strengthen and consolidate the approach of Environmental Education in the formal and non-formal Teaching System; Outline a strategy to consolidate, in coordination with the partners, a mechanism for perpetuating Environmental Education in the formal, non-formal and community education systems; ways to raise awareness and change behavioral patterns compatible with the requirements for the guarantor of sustainable environmental protection; ensure a strategy for the transmission of knowledge and skills to the different environmental actors, with emphasis on citizens and civil society; to promote a favorable environment for raising citizens' environmental awareness; to establish a framework for citizens' participation in concrete actions to promote and promote the quality of the environment.
