The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to notification of vertebrates or cephalopods used for experiments or other purposes. In particular, article 1 establishes that whoever carries out animal experiments under article 7 of the Animal Protection Act must notify the competent authority indicating details of experiment, origin and number of animals, as well as the purpose of the experiment. The text consists of 4 articles and 1 Annex.
