This Regulation defines various issues related to the phytosanitary control (phytosanitary certificates, phytosanitary certificates for re-export and/or electronic equivalent document) measures that regard: the international trade (deriving from other states members of the European Union, and from other states that are non-members of the Union) with organisms harmful to plants, plant products and other; the possible spread of pests, the movement of plants, plant products and other similar and/or related substances or objects; the export and transit of plants, plant products and other; the production of plants and other products. The provisions of this Regulation are also in accordance the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC). The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
