The present Law lays down provisions relating to equal opportunities in the sphere of the "Land", municipalities and municipal associations. In particular, it applies to all employees of the state, the municipalities and associations of municipalities, to teachers at public compulsory schools, agricultural and forestry vocational schools and to all persons who apply there for a job if they are due to their gender, age, disability, religion or belief, race or ethnic origin and sexual orientation are discriminated against or harassed. Furthermore, it also applies to all those who feel discriminated against by their measures, especially with regard to health, social issues, access to and supply with goods and services, including housing and education. The text consists of 55 articles divided into 7 Parts.
