These Measures, consisting of 9 Articles, were enacted according to the Animal Protect Act. According to the Animal Protect Act, anyone convicted of a crime, receiving a deferred prosecution or a monetary fine may be required by the local competent authority to attend an animal protection course, part of which is hands-on practice in an animal shelter. These Measures provide for the format, content, fee collection and requirements of the training courses.
