These Rules notify the provisions on the functioning of the Tree Authority. The Rules establish composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Authority, aiming to provide on application for permission of tree felling and process for filing of appeal under section 14 of the Karnataka Preservation of Trees Act, 1976.
