These Measures, consisting of 51 Articles, are enacted to standardize the hygienic permission work at frontier ports, strengthen hygienic supervision and management at frontier ports, protect the health of entry personnel, and safeguard health and safety of frontier ports. The Measures apply to units or individuals engaged in food production (including aeronautical food), food sales (containing food supplies for entry-exit transportation tools), catering services, the supply of drinking water, and the operation of public places at the frontier ports. The food production and business operators shall obtain the frontier port hygiene permits in order to engage in the related operation or service activities, and accept the supervision of the inspection and quarantine department according to law.
