Announcement of the State Administration for Entry and Exit Inspection and Quarantine (No. 14 of 2000) on Preventing Foot and Mouth Disease from Spreading from Russia to China.

The Announcement is enacted to protect the safety of China's animal husbandry and prevent the introduction of the epidemic. It is prohibited to import hoofed animals ( pigs, cattle, sheep, etc.) and their products directly or indirectly from Russia; all the hoofed animals and their products from Russia, which have arrived at the Chinese entry points, will be returned or destroyed.
