This Board Resolution RDC approves the Technical Regulation of Good Manufacturing Practices for Processed and Derived Peanut Industrialization Establishments. In addition, it creates the Checklist of Good Manufacturing Practices for Processed and Derived Peanut Processing Establishments, as set out in Annex II, as an instrument for assessing compliance with the Technical Regulation in Annex I. Its purpose is to define Good Manufacturing Practices procedures for processed peanut and processed peanut processing establishments in order to guarantee the sanitary quality of the final product. It applies to processing and processing peanut processing establishments in which some of the following activities are carried out: industrialization, subdivision, storage and transportation.
