This Order, in full accordance with section 17DA of the Nature Protection Act 1991, and for the purposes of Article 3 of the Directive 2009/147/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on the conservation of wild birds, here sets the designation of special protection areas, as follows: “Rock of Gibraltar Special Protected Area”; “Southern Waters of Gibraltar Special Protected Area”.
